LOVE FOR LONG // ACOUSTIC SESSION FOR ALTER THE PRESS

At the Detroit stop on the Frank Turner tour, I got to record a quick acoustic session with Jon from Alter The Press. We did this in the green room at St Andrew’s, just two floors above the room where Eminem used to perform at a now legendary open mic night. Eminem! Marshall Mathers! Anyway. The room we recorded in has the highest ceiling of all time, creating a natural reverb that would make My Bloody Valentine and Pale Saints blush.

I also took the liberty of pulling the above screen shot from the video… in which my eyes are closed and I’m definitely singing a word that ends in “ooo.” You’re welcome! I love me a good paused-video screen shot.
