kickstarter: You are (on) an island is a a guerrilla public art project conceptualized by Alicia Eggert and Mark Fleming. It consists of a large blue neon sign that says “You are on an island,” but the word “on” blinks rhythmically on-and-off — reminding us, on occasion, that we are islands. Eerily effecting, isn’t it?
